The Quadrifoglio models capture the eyes and hearts of everyone with their aerodynamic outline. This vehicle also features a renowned V Scudetto grille and available five-hole wheels. These wheels create an aggressive stance for the Quadrifoglio. Alfa Romeo of Larchmont is here to share with you the remarkable history of this incredible vehicle.

Alfa Romeo was Born

The Alfa was born on June 14th, 1910. This vehicle had then become Alfa Romeo in 1918 when it gained acknowledgment among other vehicle manufacturers for the quality and performance of its vehicles. When the Alfa Romeo was included in the races these vehicles had significant positions and the first victories were gained in the pre-war period. Then soon followed excellent results that came almost immediately after the big historical watershed of the First World War. Although, in order for the brand to become the legend that it is today the Alfa Romeo had its first big victory still to come.

1923

1932 was the turn of true events with the XIV edition of the Targa Florio. Alfa Romeo decided to not leave anything to chance as they had prepared a very specific "Corsa" version of the new RL. This had become known as Giuseppe Merosi's masterpiece. Made lighter, shorter, and more boosted in power was the "three-litre". the logistical aspects of this vehicle were taken care of and summoned the best drivers during this time. These drivers were Giuseppe Campari, Giulio Masetti, Enzo Ferrari, Antonio Ascari, and Ugo Sivocci. Behind a more aggressive version of the car, were the latter two. This displacement had been boosted to 95hp and 3154cc.

The Good Luck Emblem

In the world of racing, all you need is a little luck. No matter how valid the project, how intense the effort, how perfect in every detail, how big the sacrifice. With this in mind, the Alfa Romeo company decided to paint a lucky charm on the bonnets of each of its vehicles. This symbol is also known as the green four-leaf clover. With superstition came a great victory that ultimately launched the brand into the Olympus of manufacturers. They then transformed the Quadrifoglio into a logo that began distinguishing all the Alfa Romeo racing vehicles.

Today

Today, the standard available models in the new Alfa Romeo generation are the Stelvio and the Giulia models. Both of these models proudly wear the legendary Quadrifoglio badge. This badge certifies their qualities in terms of handling and weight/power ratio, class-topping performance, specific external and internal features, a genuine Alfa Romeo sound, and exclusive powerplants.
