How powerful are the engines of the Tonale?
Let's start things with some excellent news. Every version of the 2023 Tonale comes standard with all-wheel-drive, perfect for those looking to brave the harsh New York winters. The gasoline-powered powertrain is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that conjures up around 256 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The other engine is a hybrid setup that takes a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder which sends power to the front wheels with a six-speed automatic transmission. A 90-kilowatt electric motor and a battery pack make up the rear of the vehicle, and the total output for this engine is 272 horsepower with an all-electric range of 30 miles. The battery can also be charged in 2.5 hours with a Level 2 Charger. Several drive modes are available with this engine, including Dynamic, Dual Power, and Natural, each of which is tailored to you and your driving habits.
Describing the Tonale's interior
When you set foot inside the cabin of the Tonale, you will get a nice mix of old and new. You will find that the steering wheel and large paddle shifts in other Alfa Romeo vehicles are here on the Tonale, and the seats are comfortable and come with a beautiful design. The higher trims of the Tonale are coated with vegan leather and faux suede, and all of the Tonale's seats come with a cool-looking multicolor pattern which you can find on the inner part of the cushions. When you look at the outer air vents, you will see that they will have a familiar circular design, while the inner air vents are slimmed down to accommodate the climate controls further. All of the climate controls are located under the massive touchscreen, and they are all physical, which makes it a breath of fresh air.
Tech for the Tonale
The infotainment center for the Tonale is a Uconnect 5 system that features a customizable home screen that will make navigating your most used apps incredibly easy. The system also comes standard with wireless connectivity for your Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Alexa is built in, which means you can control certain aspects of the Tonale right on your phone, and it will be able to understand simple voice commands. The gauge cluster is a customizable 12.3-inch display, and the graphics on the screen mimic specific analog gauges, show a full-screen map, or give the driver a few tips on how. to drive the PHEV powertrain. The driver display will also offer information on advanced driver assist systems such as adaptive cruise control and lane centering.
