The BMW M3 sedan is only available as a singular trim and a few optional add-on packages. The high powered engine is a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It utilizes rear wheel drive and a choice of a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. An optional Competition package increases engine output up to 444 hp, which simultaneously tunes the suspension and differential.
